Private Care Sector Workforce Initiative
Introduction
The Private Care Sector Workforce Initiative has developed the capacity of the private care sector in Scotland to deliver on the national workforce agenda. The Initiative is managed by Scottish Care and is funded by the Scottish Government through the Older People’s Unit and the Workforce & Capacity Issues Division within the Social Care Directorate. The remit of the Initialtive came to an end at the end of March 2011. Scottish Care manages the Workforce Initiative on behalf of the wider private health and social care sector in Scotland.
David Rennie, Mike Kiely, and Rona Montagneux are continuing their involvement with the Workforce Initiative.
