The Scottish Human Rights Commission, supported by Scottish Care through the Workforce Initiative, has developed training and awareness raising resources relating to the care and support of older people. Between October 2010 and February 2011 there will be a number of free half-day courses open for registration. The training sessions will use film scenarios and case studies to increase awareness and give practical advice about how to apply human rights principles. The dates of the initial courses are below.
