“Fitness Leader Award” Course - meaningful activity for people with dementia

21st-23rd February & 22nd March 2011 (4 day course)
Iris Murdoch Building, University of Stirling
This course will provide you with the skills to plan, teach and assess a physical activity intervention programme in a care home environment or other environment where older people are cared for. In particular the course will provide an understanding of the range of meaningful activities for older people with dementia.
Successful completion of this course will lead to a formal SQA qualification in "Fitness Leader: Meaningful Activities for Older People with Dementia".
