What's On

Free Workshops on Information Literacy

By becoming information literate, you will know where to look for information, how to find what you need, judge whether it is reliable and useful, and then apply it to your work.

There are still places available on IRISS’s free, half-day workshops entitled, Embracing Information Literacy: the art of finding and sharing information, which are being held in Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

The effective use of knowledge and information is central to realising the vision set out in Changing Lives of person-centred social services, delivered by a confident and competent workforce. The Knowledge Management Strategy for the social services recognises the importance of information literacy.
