IRISS are hosting a Forum2010, the first in what they hope will become an annual event. This will be an opportunity both to showcase the work of IRISS and to hear from a number of key speakers. This year the event has the title 'Challenging times, creative solutions' and the panel will be discussing different ways in which support can be developed, even within financial constraints.
Those attending will have the opportunity to hear from:
• Adam Ingram, Minister for Children and Early Years
• Caroline Tomlinson, co-founder of in Control and social entrepreneur
• Janice Galloway, Writer
• Andy Gibson, Mindapples
• Moveable Feast Theatre
The event will also include workshops led by IRISS's three teams as well as Project Ability. They will focus on how solutions can be found to deliver successful outcomes for the people that access Scotland's social services.
IRISS Forum 2010 will be held on 2nd November at Dovecot Studios, Edinburgh. For further information please see the flyer (http://forum.iriss.org.uk/2010/flyer) and visit the Forum website: http://forum.iriss.org.uk. To book your place, please go to: http://irissforum2010.eventbrite.com
