Breakfast Seminars on “Removal of the default retirement age”
Maclay, Murray & Spence are hosting a series of breakfast seminars that will take place in November. Attendance is free of charge and the morning will cover the following topics:
Removal of the default retirement age
The Government's decision to phase out the default retirement age of 65 means that employers will have to justify their retirement ages or risk claims. In this session we will look at the removal of the default retirement age due to begin in April 2011 and consider the transitional arrangements covering the period until 1 October 2011. We will also look at practical tips for managing your workforce now and dealing with retirement going forward. You will need to be quick if you want to book a place as the seminars have booked up rapidly. Places are limited to two per organisation on a first come first served basis.
