‘TELL SOMEONE’ Implementing the Adult Support & Protection (Scotland) Act 2007

The Tell Someone Training the Trainers courses were run throughout Scotland from June to September 2009.

 

The Scottish Government funded a small number of additional courses to be run in the central belt in February 2010. These courses are now fully subscribed

 

Venues

1st February - Edinburgh - Edinburgh Training Centre,16 St. Mary's Street, Edinburgh,EH1 1SU

2nd February Stirling - Voluntary Sector Social Services Workforce Unit, Jubilee House,Forthside Way, Stirling,FK8 1QZ

23 February - Glasgow - Learning Networks, Unit 42, Sir James Clark Building, Abbey Mill Business Centre, Seedhill, Paisley,  PA1 1TJ

 

Registration for all the courses is 09:00 hrs for a 09:30 hrs start. The courses will finish at 16:30 hrs to view the full programme click here 

 

In addition to the course, the Tell Someone resource pack was posted to all Care Commission registered adult care services in Scotland, including services for older people, across the private and voluntary sectors on 14 July.  The contents of the resources pack, contained in a CDROM and DVD, are available to view or  download by clicking here.  For a copy of the cover letter which was distributed with the resource pack  Click here

From August 2009 to March 2010 the University of Stirling is undertaking an evaluation of the impact of the course and of the Tell Someone resource pack.
