Tissue Viability Network and Web Site Update

NHS Quality Improvement Scotland  has been the driving force behind the initiative to increase the knowledge and understanding of tissue viability. By improving best practice in recogition and treatment we can help prevent and care for pressure ulcers, click here to view the web site.

The tissue viability website has been live since Spring 2009 positive feedback from users has been received on its format and content.  Over 500 members have signed up to the website since then. To view the website click here . You can find help,  advice and various toolkits to assist in the field of tissue viability.

In addition to the web site a network of practitioners has been created and a number of seminars held to improve practice and share knowledge.
