The Care Accolades were launched in 2004 to celebrate and promote good practice and workforce development in social services. Winning an Accolade gives organisations, teams or projects recognition of your achievement and allows you to share best practice with other organisations.
The Care Accolades 2010 will provide recognition of initiatives, achievement and good practice in all areas of social services demonstrate excellence in learning and development in organisations
recognise improvement in the outcomes for people who use services promote the excellent work carried out in the sector to the wider public.
Who can enter the Care Accolades 2010
Organisations and teams from the voluntary, private or local authority sector can all apply for the Care Accolades. Your service may be an early years nursery, a care home for adults or a housing support service. We welcome entries from all different types of organisations. If you know of a team or organisation that could apply for the Care Accolades, please let them know and encourage them to apply. You can nominate teams for category 8 – team of the year award.
Why enter
Care Accolades is an excellent chance for you to promote your service. As well as the chance to win an Accolade, this includes a short film to show each of the finalists and a table at the event hosted by TV celebrity Kaye Adams it is a unique way to celebrate success in social services.
