Developed and run by the Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) in stirling this award winning programme cascades dementia training through the care home, hospital, day centre and care at home care settings to reduce training costs and develop a shared ethos of care. Person-centred values, approaches and practises are firmly embedded in the study books and facilitated group discussions. The DSDC train a senior member of your staff team as a facilitator to deliver this course locally to a further 8 members of staff. Facilitator training is held at various locations throughout the UK.
