‘SSKS enthusiast’ event 19th September 2011 Central Quay, Glasgow

NHS Education for Scotland, is hosting an 'SSKS enthusiast' event on Monday, 19th September 2011, from 1.30-4.30pm at Central Quay in Glasgow.

Practitioners are invited to attend to find out more about how to access social care resources and services. The new Social Services Knowledge Scotland (SSKS) older people's portal has recently been launched (Click here), which brings together a wide range of information to support those working with, and caring for, older people. Other resource areas under development include: criminal justice, drugs and alcohol, and early years.

This session will provide delegates with:

• An overview of the site including new features and proposed developments
• A hands-on session with the Knowledge Services team, which will give attendees the opportunity to use the site with team support.

Places are limited to 45 delegates.
